Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating / scheduling the appropriate life cycle phases for implementation and support for large or multiple small projects. Activities include coordinating resources, schedules, task assignments and often performs systems analysis. Serves as a primary contact with user groups and systems management. Familiar with Waterfall & Agile delivery methods. May also indirectly supervise staff. Optional technology experience.

Job Description
The Panther Group is seeking a Project Manager to support Medicare Markets and Medicare Mandate Projects with one of our partners, a large health insurance company. This position is a W2 contract role (6 months) and does not permit Visas or sponsorship now or in the future.
- Healthcare industry understanding will be important because the projects may cross over multiple business areas (risk adjustment, network provider, outreach to providers, etc.)
- Ideal candidate would have some exposure to Medicare projects, such as CMS mandate projects.
- 3-5 years of experience is required
- Ideal candidate would have working knowledge of Smartsheets and Jira
- Must understand project plans, and how to create / manage to a schedule.
