Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager. This project manager will lead the integration and roll out of a Robotic Grid system to interface with our existing Warehouse Management System (WMS).
The roll-out has already been completed to two Distribution Centers with two more planned. The two DCs have implemented with a product called Autostore that utilizes robot technology for sorting and picking of totes at the DCs.
The PM will oversee the vendor responsible for the WMS and Robotic Grid system as well as managing the project delivery teams (including infrastructure teams and QA teams). In addition, the PM will coordinate project tasks with internal infrastructure leads and provide frequent project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Two Key Initiatives:
1) Oversee and Manage delivery of WMS/Robotic Grid to two additional Distribution Centers by end of 2025 and middle of 2026. This automated system interfaces back to our WMS (LogPro) for tracking of inventory, truckloads, etc.
2) The PM will support the stabilization of the first 2 sites by driving backlog of infrastructure changes that are needed
Required Qualifications:
Note: This is a remote role. Candidates must be available Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm Central Time, with occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends as required.

- Manage vendor delivery and coordinate internal resource efforts to meet project deadlines
- This individual will be responsible for maintaining the overall project plan, coordinating work between scrum teams and other technical teams, identifying dependencies, managing priorities between dependencies, managing risk and decision registers, tracking budget, managing third-party engagements, and providing regular updates on project status.
2) The PM will support the stabilization of the first 2 sites by driving backlog of infrastructure changes that are needed
- Capture, Update, Track the lessons learned from prior rollouts
- Work with the vendor and internal teams to scope each item
- Prioritize each lesson learned based on efficiency / stability impact, cost and time to deploy
- Integrate these improvements into future rollouts
- Develop a plan to review prior rollouts and implement these improvements
- Must be able to proactively drive progress.
- Develop, maintain, and drive execution of overall project plans
- Coordinate efforts across cross-functional business units, application development teams, and stakeholders
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks; maintain risk and decision registers
- Track and manage project scope, schedule, and budget
- Ensure consistent progress toward project goals and timelines
- Coordinate and align efforts across multiple Scrum and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, prioritization, and timely delivery
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies
- Deliver timely, clear project updates to leadership and stakeholders, proactively flagging concerns and proposing solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with managing / delivering – supply chain projects for retail organizations including Distribution Centers.
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Experience with infrastructure-based projects – must be able to speak to technologies with understanding of terms such as Firewalls, Servers, Networks, MDF, IDF, Network capacity, etc.
- Experience managing external vendors
- Track record of leading delivery of systems with interdependencies across multiple platforms
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in an Agile environment
- Proven ability to lead diverse technical teams and manage complex projects
- Experience working effectively with both technical and business teams
- Strong track record of achieving results while fostering collaborative, “win-win” outcomes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive progress proactively
- Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with Smartsheet (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and project assignments
- Experience with AutoStore WMS
- Nice to have experience with Robotic Grid Systems
- PMP certification
