QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
The Panther Group has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Engineer in the Dallas, TX area.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluations.
  • Key job duties include:
    • Can support AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
    • Can complete required training to obtain access to NetInspect. 
  • Activities include:
    • Execution of FAI elements, such as creation of ballooning drawings in Discus and initiation of FAIR in NetInspect.
    • Gathering data and populating FAI Form1 fields, related to Bill of Materials and Certificates of Compliance.
    • Ability to create nonconforming material reports (NCR) for FAI findings.
    • Can review FAI Form1/2/3 and complete FAI checklist in NetInspect.
    • Ability to support manufacturing issues, report nonconformances to product requirements and noncompliances to processes and procedures.
    • Data analysis, prepare slides for presentation in management reviews.
    • Support processing of NCRs created in receiving area, manufacturing, and supplier variance requests (SVR).
    • Can review process routers.
    • Can participate in reviews and approvals of change orders to production data packages in PLM Able to support internal audits and root cause/corrective action (RCCA) activities.
    • Can support document authoring for Quality processes and procedures when they need updates.
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology, and at least twelve (12) years of experience.
  • Experience working in the electronics manufacturing field, and familiarity with ESD and FOD precautions.
  • Experience executing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
  • Ability to complete IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification and communicate with multifunctional teams to resolve Quality issues that arise in manufacturing.
  • Can work in a highly utilized Quality team and is flexible in taking on tasks.
  • Ability to support manufacturing issues, report nonconformances to product requirements and noncompliances to processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications at a basic skill level.
Experience and Skills Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to complete training as requested Current IPC certifications and FAI experience are preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology, and at least twelve (12) years of experience.
