Job Description

QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER
The Panther Group has an immediate need for a Quality Control Engineer in the Fort Wayne, IN area.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Senior Quality Control Engineers with driving quality actions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in order to meet or exceed all regulatory and customer requirements and expectations.
  • Assist with the following:
    •  First Article Inspections Containments, purges, and stop ships.
    • Quality investigations utilizing root cause and corrective action tools.
    • Inducting Customer returns
Experience and Skills Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality experience in electronics /electrical assembly.
  • Solid manufacturing process knowledge / experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are critical to interact and communicate with other people effectively.
  • Being detail-oriented is important to swiftly and accurately identify any potential quality concerns with a product.
  • Critical thinking: A quality engineer needs to have the ability to analyze and evaluate information, data, and situations logically and objectively.
  • Teamwork: A quality engineer needs to be able to work well with others, collaborate, and share ideas and feedback
Experience and Skills Preferred:
  • Quality control methods, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Greenbelt certification J-STD-001; J-STD-610 familiarity.
Education:
  • Degree in a Technical field is highly recommended with 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
