Job Description

The Panther Group has an immediate need for a Quality Metrology Technician in the Blaine, MN area.

Responsibilities:

Develop and use measurement methods and equipment to define the dimension features of products conform to the design features.
Program and use CMM and OGP.
Develop measurement programs for use by quality inspectors and production personnel.
Troubleshoot OGP and CMM programs and system malfunctions.
Optimize inspection methods to expedite inspections and manage equipment capacity.
Perform tests and record data on spreadsheets.

Required Qualifications:

OGP smart scope software experience (Zone 3 software) required.
Proficient in the use of mechanical based measuring and test equipment (Calipers, Micrometers).
Proficiency reading and understand technical documentation/drawings.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team, environment utilizing effective oral & written communication skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent technical training.
