R&D Engineer
Job Description
Research and development engineering is responsible to establish the Design Control requirement through good documentation practice while supporting concept, design, and development on (a) upgrades to existing product designs or (b) creating new product designs.
Responsibilities
- Tests developments in conjunction with Marketing and external customers.
- Supports maintenance of business projects (MOB).
- Executes DHF (Design History File) requirements, developing and testing product designs.
- Manages assigned project timelines and maintains project status updates.
- Acts as a technical liaison between Marketing and Production for the design control requirements.
- Manages all aspects of the CDP (Change Deployment Process) Keeps up to date with health and safety issues.
- Works under direct supervision.
- Works on projects of limited scope and complexity.
- Applies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks.
- Follows established procedures to resolve identifiable technical problems.
- Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
- 0-2 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
