The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter – Engineering to support a leading aerospace and defense organization. This is a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting role supporting engineering hiring needs across multiple U.S. locations. This is a fully remote opportunity.

Position Overview
In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and HR teams to deliver top engineering talent across Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Systems, and Computer Science roles. You will manage the full recruiting lifecycle while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience and compliance with internal hiring processes.

This position begins as a contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles across multiple business units
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, skills, and hiring needs
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top engineering talent nationally
  • Screen resumes and conduct candidate assessments to ensure role alignment
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners
  • Guide candidates through the interview process, including preparing them for interviews and setting expectations
  • Extend offers under direction of hiring managers and company policies
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Stay current on recruiting trends, sourcing techniques, and labor market conditions
  • Ensure compliance with EEO guidelines, compensation practices, and internal hiring policies
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years of recruiting experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
  • Strong experience recruiting within Engineering disciplines:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Software Engineering
    • Systems Engineering
    • Computer Science
  • Proven experience with full-cycle recruiting (sourcing through offer acceptance)
  • Experience recruiting in a high-volume, multi-location environment
  • Strong sourcing skills using online databases, job boards, and Boolean search
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience maintaining accurate ATS documentation and compliance standards
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience recruiting in aerospace, defense, or technical environments
  • Familiarity with national recruiting across multiple U.S. locations
Pay Rate: Up to $44.97 per hour
