Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software delivery teams in driving successful project outcomes through Scrum best practices and continuous improvement. This role will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, coach teams and stakeholders, and help improve delivery transparency through modern collaboration and AI-enabled tools. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong facilitation skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience supporting cross-functional technology teams.

Key Responsibilities Agile Leadership
  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile delivery teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, ceremonies, and best practices.
  • Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives while promoting productive collaboration and accountability.
  • Support quarterly or program-level planning activities by helping teams identify dependencies, align priorities, and prepare for upcoming work.
Agile Coaching
  • Coach development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving actionable outcomes from retrospectives and helping teams implement process enhancements.
  • Encourage servant leadership while removing impediments that impact team productivity and delivery.
Agile Tools & Process Enablement
  • Support effective use of Agile project management tools for backlog management, sprint planning, reporting, and workflow optimization.
  • Utilize AI-powered productivity tools to improve documentation, summarize sprint outcomes, streamline communications, and reduce administrative effort.
  • Promote best practices for backlog refinement and sprint readiness.
Delivery Metrics & Reporting
  • Monitor Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, cycle time, sprint predictability, and defect trends.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting artifacts that provide visibility into team progress, risks, and delivery health.
  • Communicate project status, blockers, and emerging risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure a well-defined, prioritized, and actionable product backlog.
  • Identify cross-team dependencies and coordinate with other Agile teams to support successful delivery.
  • Assist with risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution.
Continuous Delivery & Quality
  • Promote Agile engineering practices and awareness of DevOps principles, continuous integration, and continuous delivery methodologies.
  • Encourage quality-focused development through clear definitions of done, testing strategies, and continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications Required
  • 2+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role supporting software development teams.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and iterative software delivery.
  • Experience using Agile project management platforms (such as Jira or comparable tools).
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools that support project management, documentation, and team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery metrics including velocity, cycle time, sprint forecasting, and team performance indicators.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile engineering practices.
  • Experience working with cross-functional Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
Preferred
  • Scrum certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting teams operating within scaled Agile environments.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
