Job Description

Our client, a respected mission driven organization in the education sector, known for its impact, is seeking a Salesforce Lead Administrator to take ownership of its Salesforce platform. This key role involves overseeing the platform’s day-to-day operations, implementing scalable solutions, and collaborating across functional areas to optimize business processes. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the daily administration of Salesforce across multiple functional teams to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain automation using Flow Builder (record-triggered, screen flows, scheduled flows).
  • Manage data imports/exports and cleansing activities with Data Loader and similar tools.
  • Handle integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems, particularly ERP platforms, using integration middleware (e.g., Celigo).
  • Diagnose and resolve platform issues; provide frontline user support and facilitate training where necessary.
  • Maintain and enhance Salesforce configurations: custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, user profiles, roles, page layouts, dashboards, and reports.
  • Evaluate and deploy new Salesforce features and third-party tools from AppExchange.
  • Enforce data governance practices, ensuring integrity, compliance, and alignment with security protocols (e.g., role hierarchy, field-level security).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand evolving needs and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Act as a technical mentor to Salesforce users and junior admins, fostering a learning-oriented environment.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of Salesforce administration experience, including at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior-level capacity.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong experience with Flow Builder and automation best practices.
  • Solid skills in bulk data handling using Data Loader or equivalent.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) via middleware platforms (such as Celigo, MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator capable of working with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, and LWC is a plus but not required.
