Job Description

This position will require the candidate to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
 
About the Role:
We are hiring an experienced Software Scrum Master.  The ideal candidate will facilitate and support our agile development process and ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices. The Scrum Master will work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily Team Sync meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Ensure the development team is following agile practices and Scrum framework
  • Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress
  • Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment
  • Assist the product owner in maintaining the product backlog and ensuring work is ready for planning
  • Track and communicate team progress and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement and help the team to increase productivity and quality.
  • Ensure that the team delivers high-quality software that meets customer needs and expectations
  • Problem Solving every day
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Experience with JIRA\GITLab and knowledge on the interpretation/recommendations of Jira Metric.
  • Experience working with software development teams
  • Experience refining requirements for programs or proposals
  • Program management experience to inform schedules and timelines for development programs
  • Strong Communication, Interpersonal, organizational and leadership talents
  • Familiar with Safety critical systems and software development (ie: Mil Std 882E, ISO 26262, or similar product Safety standard).
  • Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends
 Nice to have:
  • Master's Degree in related discipline.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Certified Scrum professional (CSP), or Certified Product Owner (CSPO) certification preferred.
  • Familiar with DevOps/DevSecOps principals
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines creation and use
  • Familiar with Ground Common Infrastructure Architecture (GCIA)
  • Familiar with Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) architecture
  • Familiar with Modular Open systems Approach (MOSA)
  • This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
