Job Description


The Panther Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to support a dynamic development team for one of our clients. This role is ideal for a collaborative Agile professional who is passionate about guiding teams, improving delivery processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As a Scrum Master, you will serve as a servant leader and Agile champion, helping teams deliver high-quality products while promoting strong communication, accountability, and transparency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach development teams, product owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum best practices
  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure the team can deliver efficiently and effectively
  • Protect the team from distractions and scope changes that may impact sprint commitments
  • Track sprint progress, team velocity, and key Agile metrics, providing clear updates to stakeholders
  • Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and team accountability
  • Partner closely with the Product Owner to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog
  • Support broader Agile initiatives and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Facilitate constructive conflict resolution and encourage open communication within the team

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and the software development lifecycle
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to identify and remove blockers while supporting healthy team dynamics

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS
  • Technical background or prior experience in software development environments
  • Experience working with distributed or remote Agile teams
