Job Description
Senior Level Technical Support
In this role, you will deliver VIP/white-glove IT support to executives, board members, senior leadership and investments across devices, applications, and collaboration platforms. The responsibilities include:
- Provide hands-on support for laptops, tablets, smartphones, video conferencing systems, and other executive technologies.
- Ensure seamless operation of meetings, events, and presentations including remote and hybrid setups.
- Manage executive hardware lifecycle including procurement, setup, imaging, deployment, and upgrades.
- Act as a trusted technology advisor, anticipating and addressing executive needs proactively.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure secure, reliable IT experiences.
- Monitor and resolve escalations quickly, minimizing downtime and impact in executive productivity.
- Train executives and executive assistants on new technologies and digital workplace tools.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide occasional off-hours or travel support as needed.
- Take an advocate role for executive users, help to run/lead business cases and projects that pertain to our executive population.
- Participate and lead meetings with L2 and engineering teams on behalf of your executive and executive assistants.
- Located in Houston with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in IT support with at least 2 years supporting C-Suite or senior executive, preferably in financial services.
Technical Skills:
- Expert Knowledge of Windows and macOS Environments
- Strong background with Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and mobile device management (MDM)
- Familiarity with enterprise networking, VPNs, and security tools.
- Experience with video conferencing systems (Teams Rooms (windows/android) Webex, Poly/HP, Crestron, Logitech, etc)
- Certifications that demonstrate competency in enterprise IT (A+, etc.) are a plus
Professional Competencies:
- Exceptional communication, discretion, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calm and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Flexibility to support executives outside of normal business hours or during travel.
- A ground up understanding of enterprise technology on a large scale.
- Willingness to travel for your assigned senior executive (house calls, off-sites)
- Professional appearance. This role is very visible.
