Job Description


The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to support a leading higher education institution in Boston. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-impact Salesforce Sales Cloud initiative with an aggressive year-end delivery timeline.

We're looking for a hands-on Salesforce expert with strong development experience, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions.
  • Develop custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, batch processes, and automation.
  • Build and maintain integrations with enterprise applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Partner with business analysts, Salesforce administrators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead technical development efforts from design through deployment using CI/CD best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, code repositories, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required).
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud customization and development.
  • Expert-level experience with:
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Aura Components
    • Visualforce
  • Experience developing and supporting Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Git, Gearset, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.
  • Experience with Experience Cloud development.
  • Experience in higher education or a large enterprise environment.
Work Environment
  • Hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite in Boston, MA.
  • 40-hour work week.
  • Fast-paced, collaborative development environment.

Pay is $104.90 per hour DOE
