Job Description


The Panther Group is seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to support a leading global aerospace and technology organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives supporting digital transformation, Model Based Enterprise (MBE), and next-generation software quality solutions.

***Not open to C2C or third party agencies. No Visa sponsorship for this role. Must be able to get a US Security Clearance if required***

You will join a virtual team focused on enhancing enterprise automation frameworks, building scalable testing solutions, and driving continuous testing within modern DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts
  • Enhance enterprise test automation solutions to support strategic business initiatives
  • Build automation keywords, reusable libraries, and scalable test assets
  • Support software test planning, execution, reporting, and defect tracking
  • Upgrade frameworks to current industry standards and best practices
  • Containerize automation solutions using Docker or similar tools
  • Identify and close Continuous Testing (CT) gaps within DevOps pipelines
  • Collaborate with distributed Agile teams to deliver high-quality releases
  • Participate in configuration management and release readiness activities
Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (required)
  • Strong software development/coding skills in Java, Python, VBScript, or similar languages
  • Experience with keyword-driven test automation
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and enterprise testing tools
  • Experience in test cycle planning, coordination, execution, and reporting
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and Agile delivery models
  • Experience with Docker or container orchestration tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with multiple testing layers: UI, functional, unit, scalability/performance
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab (preferred) or Jenkins
  • Configuration management experience
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience working successfully on remote/virtual teams
