Job Description

The Panther Group is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Software Engineer to support Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery initiatives through the design, development, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) module.

***Not open to C2C or third party agencies. No Visa sponsorship for this role. Must be able to get a US Security Clearance if required***

In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative Agile environment, delivering enterprise-grade solutions that align with security, compliance, and data-quality standards. You will lead end-to-end development efforts across configuration, automation, integration, testing, and documentation while partnering closely with business and technical stakeholders.

This is a remote role; however, candidates must live within 50 miles of Orlando, FL

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow BCM module supporting enterprise Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery objectives

  • Build and manage low-code solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and Action Designer

  • Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, debugging, and documentation

  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, including ServiceNow ATF

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, test plans, operating procedures, and user guides

  • Partner with Business Continuity, IT, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and data governance standards

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain Knowledge Articles and support Incident, Request, and Knowledge Management workflows

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s degree)

  • 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including:

    • Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, tables, forms, and scoped applications

    • ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, workflows/flows, and custom app development

  • Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, Action Designer, and Data Sources

  • Solid understanding of low-code enterprise platform development

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and automation languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and storage services

  • Experience implementing process improvements and automation initiatives

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)

  • Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills
