Job Description
Under supervision, performs duties of the Shipping and Receiving in accordance with procedures. Ensures proper and accurate receipt, shipping, and distribution of all items. Ensures both internal and external customer requirements are met or exceeded. Assists Team Lead with the collection of KPIs.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs timely shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with other shipping and receiving associates.
- Ensures that all required shipping documentation is included with all outbound materials.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and safe area.
- Participates in the loading/unloading of trucks and deliveries.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Accurately generates and fills out relevant shipping paperwork.
- Inspects accuracy of all inbound and outbound material against relevant documentation.
- Escalates all discrepancies found in all inbound and outbound paperwork.
- Inspects all incoming and outgoing shipments for damage.
- Uses combination of ERP system, Microsoft Office, and shipping portals to prepare shipments.
- Processes inbound shipments accurately, entering data into ERP system.
- Maintains working knowledge of at least one other area of the Warehouse while able to perform all tasks of the Shipping and Receiving Team.
- Actively seeks to improve overall understanding of warehouse activities.
- Collects and reports KPIs to Team Lead as needed.
- Operates and directs others in the use of various material handling equipment and PLTs.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in role responsible for shipping and receiving.
- Good math skills and intermediate computer knowledge.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Products.
- Previous experience with Epicor or other WMS/ERP required.
- Experience shipping both small parcel and LTL/TL.
- Previous forklift experience or ability to pass forklift training and exam.
- Experience packaging sensitive material for shipment preferred.
- Experience building, repairing, and adjusting pallets and crates preferred.
