Snr. Maintenance Support Technician

Repair, modify, and maintain CNC machinery and support equipment and keep maintenance records for departmental equipment by performing the following duties.
- All equipment is 6 mos to 6 years old, state of the art. Need someone with keen diagnostic skills to forensically identify problems and find solution to repair so won t happen again.
- Candidates best suited for this role could come from Automotive, aviation manufacturing, etc.
- Must be familiar with complex, rapid working support systems and high def comparative systems is a plus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Reads blueprints or job orders as required for the maintenance of departmental machinery and support equipment.
Repairs multi-spindle screw machines and support equipment.
Repairs bar feeding equipment.
Operate and repair integrated computer systems of multiple languages that operate CNC machinery.
Fabricates fixtures, guards, and/or parts for departmental equipment.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans equipment.
Start devices to test their performance.
Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Assists in the initiation of purchase order for parts and machines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Works closely with Department Floor Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate, 3-5 years related experience. Basic knowledge of electronics and hydraulics.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Basic written and spoken English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Commensurate with education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required.
