Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, extensive hands-on experience in bookkeeping, and solid proficiency with SAP.
This role requires accuracy, autonomy, and the ability to manage complex financial tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and record all financial transactions in SAP
•Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
•Prepare monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
•Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and vendor/customer balances
•Prepare and issue invoices and manage payment cycles
•Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
•Support payroll activities with Paychex
•Maintain relationships with insurance providers and manage insurance-related documentation and renewals
•Maintain well-organized and compliant financial records
•Work closely with our CPA to prepare the company’s financial statements, obtain the tax return, and ensure timely payment of all taxes
•Ensure adherence to internal procedures and accounting standards
•Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
Requirements:
•Extensive experience (minimum 8-10 years) in bookkeeping or similar accounting roles
•Strong proficiency in SAP (mandatory)
•Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
•Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
•Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
