Job Description


Job Summary
This role is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering complex projects and programs within a defined area of expertise. The position ensures successful execution through structured methodologies, effective stakeholder engagement, and strong leadership across cross-functional teams. In this role you will be responsible for leading e-Commerce (B to C) retail solutions.  One of the major projects is the re-architecting the Point of Sale devices / systems. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage project and program delivery using appropriate methodologies to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Communicate project plans and align team efforts with broader organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Analyze business needs and recommend solutions at a functional or business unit level; lead improvement initiatives within scope of responsibility.
  • Drive the adoption of innovative practices and support capability development through initiatives such as idea generation sessions and collaborative workshops.
  • Manage key workstreams within transformation or change programs, ensuring alignment across related initiatives and applying structured change management approaches.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; escalate and resolve as appropriate.
  • Support team development through coaching, training, and performance development activities; stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Develop and oversee program plans, ensuring alignment with established governance frameworks and organizational processes.
  • Lead program review processes, providing stakeholders with clear updates, insights, and recommendations.
  • Manage program resources and budgets, including forecasting, tracking variances, and ensuring effective utilization.
  • Lead and coordinate program teams, providing direction, aligning activities, and building team capability through mentoring and guidance.
  • Ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities and adherence to program and portfolio governance standards.
  • Plan and manage budgets for assigned projects and programs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a project or program management role.
  • Experience leading e-Commerce (B to C) retail solutions.
  • Experience with retail Point of Sale devices / systems.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with project/program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
  • Vendor management experience preferred.
  • PMP and/or Scrum certification preferred.

Pay $65 - $70 / hour W2 depending on experience
