Job Description
Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the team who will play a key role in the strategy and long-term financial security of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Integral part in the preparation of financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit & loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
- Participate in the preparation and review of monthly balance sheets, profit & loss statements and other financial documents.
- Will maintain monthly reconciliations including bank accounts, assets and liabilities and report issues.
- Journal entry creation and posting.
- Vendor invoice reviews for proper coding
- Completes ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Must have at least 3+ years’ experience in all facets of accounting.
- Â At least 2+ years working in NetSuite.
- Â Ability and proven experience with good time management, and ability to manage simultaneous tasks and projects.
- Â Understanding and ability for adherence to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Â Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
