Stockroom Attendant
Job Description
The Panther Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stockroom Attendant to support a growing manufacturing and operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, inventory organization, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working on their feet, and able to accurately manage inventory transactions and material movement throughout the facility.
What You’ll Do
- Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Move materials throughout the facility to production lines, stockrooms, and other departments
- Pull and kit materials for production schedules and backorders
- Complete inventory issue and receipt transactions accurately within the ERP system
- Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and transaction issues
- Escalate inventory concerns to the Production Supervisor as needed
- Maintain organized shelf locations and inventory storage areas
- Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently
- Support overall stockroom and warehouse organization
- Assist with additional operational duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to count and track inventory quantities
- Comfortable using ERP systems and basic computer applications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Dependable work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory experience is helpful but not required
- No formal education requirements
- 0–1 year of stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the facility
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including areas that may not be climate controlled
- Ability to read part numbers, inventory labels, and production schedules accurately.
