Job Description
Our client, a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing company, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations at a manufacturing facility.

- Lead all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, materials management, inventory control, logistics, and supplier performance.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage supplier selection, development, negotiations, and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align production schedules, customer demand, and material availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain challenges, material shortages, and delivery issues.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to support efficient material flow and customer fulfillment.
- Establish and monitor key supply chain performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introductions by coordinating supplier readiness and material planning.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team through coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, quality, and security requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, materials management, or operations experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other complex manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of ERP system experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) experience.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, supplier management, inventory control, production planning, and logistics.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/reporting systems.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- APICS, ISM, CPSM, CPM, or related supply chain certifications are a plus.
