Job Description
We are currently looking for experienced Systems Engineers able to support our Combat Vehicle and Naval Guns Product Lines. Â As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

- Support requirements development and management.Â
- Develop subsystem and component performance specifications by analyzing and deriving necessary requirements.Â
- Develop and maintain requirements verification and compliance, and supporting artifacts.Â
- Coordinate and facilitate architecture development of assigned system, subsystems, and components.Â
- Support development and maintenance of interface requirements and interface design information for assigned sub-system, system and components.Â
- Document concept design decisions and support generating System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments.Â
- Coordinate and facilitate formal decisions and trade studies to drive design and document results.Â
- Support the performing and monitoring of cost, schedule, and risk.Â
- Coordinate Systems Engineering activities to influence the design.Â
- Support vehicle level Systems Engineering activities and program milestone reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ year’s relevant experience.
- Systems engineering experience performing requirements evaluation, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions within applicable constraints.
- Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives.
- Knowledge of how to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns.
- Able to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns.Â
Able to plan, conduct, and document trade studies.Â
Able to generate System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments per the program statement of work (SOW).               Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering.Â
- Experience with military vehicle systems.Â
- Logical architecture experience, including development of use cases.Â
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML methodology and tools like Cameo.Â
- Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).Â
- Experience with DOORS requirements management tool.Â
- Have and maintain INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ year’s relevant experience.      Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering.      Â
Additional Information
- Temp-to-perm - work on-site on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off in the specified Sterling Heights location.
