Job Description
The Panther Group is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support a high-impact defense program in Orlando, FL. This role focuses on software integration, system testing, and validation within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with experience in C++, integration labs (SIL), and automated testing to contribute to advanced system development.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, develop, and execute system and software integration testing
- Support integration of in-house and COTS/GOTS components and subsystems
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and schedules
- Execute manual and automated testing in a System Integration Lab (SIL)
- Analyze test results and generate evaluation and validation reports
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software integration issues
- Write and track discrepancy reports and support regression testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and requirements alignment
- Active Secret Clearance (required to start)
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience in systems/software integration and testing
- At least 2+ years of experience with C++
- Experience working in a System/Software Integration Lab (SIL)
- Strong background in:
- Test planning and execution (manual & automated)
- Integration of hardware and software systems
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Experience scripting for automation and data analysis (Python, MATLAB, or similar)
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, sprints, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with missile systems or defense/aerospace programs
- Familiarity with COTS tools and custom test environments
- Experience supporting full system lifecycle testing and validation
