Job Description
Our client is seeking a Tax Director to join their established and growing firm that fosters collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee tax compliance ensuring delivery across diverse client projects.
- Liaise between partners, professional staff and clients facilitating collaboration throughout engagements
- Foster comprehensive service plans, outlining clear timelines and responsibilities for successful project execution
- Lead the technical tax research and analysis for compliance with applicable tax regulations
- Cultivate client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and proactively addressing the clients tax needs
- Mentor and develop team members
- Work with regulatory authorities during tax examinations, representing clients.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting
- CPA certification is required
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting
- Progression in tax return complexity, scope, and research
- Extensive knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and related regulations
- Must have outstanding research and analytical capabilities
- Proven success in managing client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to mentor teams and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts
