Job Description
The Panther Group is looking for motivated individuals to join the team as a Technical Writer working for a local leader in the Aerospace Industry. Apply NOW!
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and interpreting engine manuals and other technical data to develop the methods and processes necessary for the repair and overhaul of complex aircraft engine components.
- Determines processes, operation sequence, dimensions and tolerances, and subsequently create and update work instructions and routers / travelers.
- Ensure projects are completed as scheduled and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments (Engineering, Quality, Operations, etc.)
- Support the Process Plan Overhaul Team in overhauling Repair Processes and transitioning to Solumina G8.
- Engage with hourly workforce for inputs to repair process planning and work instructions.
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years minimum experience with technical writing supporting manufacturing or similar processes
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft O365 Suite to include Visio.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills.
- Experience working in teams / projects.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment.
- Able to read and interpret process plans, technical specifications, and industry standards.
