Job Description


The Panther Group is seeking a skilled Technician II for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing and production facility in Elgin, OK. This role is ideal for hands-on technicians with mechanical aptitude, assembly experience, and the ability to work from schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with strong long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies

  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts, and defined plans

  • Utilize manufacturing test development and diagnostic equipment

  • Coordinate with engineers for task setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and rework activities

  • Conduct quality testing and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications

  • Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes, methods, and procedures

  • Support process improvements, data collection, and research activities

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ year of relevant hands-on mechanical, manufacturing, or technician experience

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions

  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and test equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Must pass drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior assembly experience
  • Military vehicle experience or defense manufacturing background
