Our client is currently seeking an Equipment Technician to join a dynamic and reputable manufacturing organization. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing technical assistance to production operators and supervisors.
Track and generate metrics related to equipment performance, uptime, utilization, and overall work center efficiency, with a focus on OEE.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize machine programs, improve setup processes, and ensure machines are fully utilizing their capacity.
Assist in the development and enhancement of equipment maintenance documentation.
Collaborate with the engineering manufacturing team, supporting testing and studies to help qualify new equipment or processes and verify the functionality of existing systems.
Perform both routine maintenance and unplanned repairs on production equipment.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or certification in Engineering or a related technical field is a plus.
2+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and supporting equipment, including screen printers, AOI systems, reflow ovens, dispense systems, pick and place machines, dicing saws, and molding equipment.
Proven experience in servicing and maintaining industrial equipment, such as piping systems, rigging, welding apparatus, and pumps.
Strong ability to mentor and guide other technicians.
Proven experience in creating and revising work instructions.
