Job Description


The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Test Technician III for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a leading aerospace and defense organization in Orlando, Florida.

This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in electronics testing, troubleshooting, hardware validation, and engineering support. The selected candidate will work closely with engineering teams to perform testing, analyze data, document results, and support critical product development and evaluation activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electronics, hardware, and system testing to support engineering programs.
  • Conduct stress testing activities on electronic systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electronic assemblies, circuit cards, and test equipment.
  • Gather, compile, and analyze technical test data and engineering information.
  • Execute test procedures and accurately document results.
  • Support engineering evaluations through data collection and reporting.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
  • Create technical reports, flow charts, diagrams, and supporting documentation.
  • Utilize software tools to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Support product development, modifications, and validation activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience with electronic testing, troubleshooting, and hardware validation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Experience with circuit card testing and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with C# programming.
  • Experience using Git for version control.
  • Background in hardware or stress testing environments.
  • Experience with cable harnesses, instrumentation, sensors, and actuators.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with Power BI or data analysis tools.
  • Aerospace, defense, or engineering laboratory experience.
