Part of Group Global Markets Debt Operations encompasses the people and processes that back up global deal-making. Every day, they make sure that billions of trades are settled, risk is minimized and clients are satisfied.
  • Front-line resolution of escalated business specific issues across assigned project areas
  • Interface with internal and external contacts for resolution of process discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Monitor and escalate aging issues and unresolved disputes to management
  • Provide written commentary on outstanding open issues
  • Identify and escalate open issues that represent risk
  • Collate regular reports for monitoring purposes
  • Build a strong relationship with the client, understanding their needs and business operations
  • Understand business and regulatory requirements and ensure functions are being performed in those requirements
  • Participate in Departmental projects and initiatives

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with sales desks in New York and Clients to achieve:
  • Timely Block Level Trade Capture
  • Confirmation and allocations of trades with clients
  • Open up fixed income accounts and request updates to the valuations systems
  • Resolution of transaction issues through liaising with TS Trade support, downstream teams & Relationship Management to resolve transaction discrepancies
  • Provide training and guidance to Process Specialists on the team
  • Understand business and regulatory requirements and ensure functions are being performed in those requirements
  • Work with the fails team to resolve trade booking discrepancies



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor s Degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics combined with at least 2 years finance industry experience. Alternatively, 3-4 years of experience in the finance industry is required
  • Strong Problem Solving and/or Analytical Skills
  • Proficiency in financial applications
  • Strong relationship abilities with internal departments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong PC skills to include experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment in order to achieve group targets
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Sales or Trading Assistant or Settlements experience.
