Key Responsibilities 

<ul>
&#9;<li>Provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys in the Real Estate and Transactional practice groups. 
&#9;<li>Prepare, revise, proofread, format, and finalize correspondence, contracts, leases, closing documents, financing documents, entity documents, resolutions, agreements, and other transactional materials. 
&#9;<li>Assist with commercial real estate closings, including coordinating closing checklists, signature pages, exhibits, title documents, due diligence materials, closing binders, and post-closing deliverables. 
&#9;<li>Coordinate communications with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, lenders, municipalities, consultants, engineers, surveyors, and other transaction participants. 
&#9;<li>Support attorneys handling sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing, development projects, financing transactions, construction-related agreements, loan documents, and related corporate matters. 
&#9;<li>Assist with land use, zoning, development, environmental review, and municipal approval matters by preparing application packages, organizing submissions, tracking deadlines, and coordinating hearing or meeting materials as needed. 
&#9;<li>Maintain and organize electronic and physical files, including matter documents, closing sets, due diligence materials, correspondence, and transaction records. 
&#9;<li>Manage CLE and attorney calendars, deadlines, meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, and reminders in connection with active matters. 
&#9;<li>Process time entries, expense reports, client invoices, engagement letters, conflict checks, and other administrative workflow items. 
&#9;<li>Open, maintain, and close client matters in accordance with firm policies and procedures. 
&#9;<li>Perform document comparisons, redlining, scanning, filing, bookmarking, indexing, and preparation of electronic closing binders. 
</ul>
Required Qualifications

<ul>
&#9;<li>Minimum of 5 years of legal assistant, legal secretary, paralegal or comparable law firm experience supporting real estate, transactional, finance, corporate, land use, or related practice areas. 
&#9;<li>Paralegal Certification and/or bachelorâs degree. 
&#9;<li>Strong working knowledge of commercial real estate transaction processes, including closings, due diligence, title, surveys, financing, leasing, and post-closing follow-up. 
&#9;<li>Excellent drafting, proofreading, formatting, grammar, and organizational skills. 
&#9;<li>Ability to manage multiple attorneys, matters, deadlines, and priorities with accuracy and efficiency. 
&#9;<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word (styles, numbering, cross-references), Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
&#9;<li>Experience with document management systems, timekeeping, billing, PDF (combine, bookmark, redact) software, electronic signatures, and legal workflow tools (or willingness to learn with training). 
&#9;<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and client-service-oriented approach. 
&#9;<li>Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, follow through on assignments, and maintain confidentiality. 
&#9;<li>High level of attention to detail and accuracy in preparing legal documents and managing transactional workflows. 
</ul>
Preferred Experience 

<ul>
&#9;<li>Prior experience supporting attorneys in a mid-sized or larger law firm environment. 
&#9;<li>Experience with commercial real estate development, mixed-use development, affordable housing, office and retail leasing, construction loans, mortgage financing, mezzanine financing, or asset-backed lending. 
&#9;<li>Experience coordinating with title companies, lenders, municipalities, engineers, architects, consultants, and other third parties involved in real estate and development matters. 
&#9;<li>Experience preparing closing binders, transaction summaries, closing checklists, and post-closing materials. 
&#9;<li>Knowledge of New York real estate practice is strongly preferred; Connecticut experience is a plus. 
&#9;<li>Comfort working with complex documents and multi-party transactions

Key Responsibilities

<br><strong>Experience and Qualifications:</strong><br>

&#9;<br>Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing paralegal support in corporate, business, or commercial real estate matters<br>

&#9;<br>Associate degree in Legal Studies or Paralegal Certification required<br>

&#9;<br>Strong administrative, organizational, and time management abilities<br>

&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Working knowledge of databases and tracking systems<br>

            <description><![CDATA[<strong><u>KYC Specialist</u></strong><br>
The role will contribute to all aspects of the Know Your Customer New York team, including:
<ul>
&#9;<li>Conduct and complete KYC onboarding requests,
&#9;<li>Conduct quality control on KYC files as well as periodic reviews on existing customers including providing feedback on specific areas of improvement,
&#9;<li>Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customers,
&#9;<li>Ensure that customers are correctly risk-classified in accordance with local regulatory and company policies and procedures,
&#9;<li>Conduct and verify sanctions checks,
&#9;<li>Conduct and evaluate checks for political exposed persons (PEP),
&#9;<li>Conduct and assess adverse media / negative news screenings,
&#9;<li>Perform reconciliation of data between various systems,
&#9;<li>Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders to acquire KYC documents,
&#9;<li>Manage specific projects which may arise, especially focused on simplification and process improvement,
&#9;<li>Provide support for the closure of external regulatory body findings as well as internal audit findings or other findings raised by first- or second-line team members,
&#9;<li>Conduct vendor management tasks, such as onboardings and reviews.
